I requested 1 week ago. They are still reviewing. I think it's nonsense personally.

I made a Expedite request yesterday and i got reply from NVC today saying my request is under review. can any one tell me, how long its take for NVC to make decision on expedite request? What are my chances for request? I have not submitted IV packet yet but already informed NVC that if you expedite my wife will mail them to mumbai consulate. Thanks.

Hey guys....

I am just curious about something. Has anyone gotten an SIF and then NOT received an e-mail the next day saying your case is complete. I am just wondering so I can get a time frame on this....NOT worried because our AVR has changed but just curious.

I am just curious about something. Has anyone gotten an SIF and then NOT received an e-mail the next day saying your case is complete. I am just wondering so I can get a time frame on this....NOT worried because our AVR has changed but just curious.

05/09/12: DS-3032 acceptance received

05/09/12: DS-230(IV) invoice email received

I assume you found out your case was sent to the embassy by telephoning the operators at NVC. We were told to call on Friday. We have SIF, confirmation of case complete on AVR and verbally, but no email as yet.

Yeah, I got confirmation from 3 different operators. AVR still says 'No record of the case#". never received email.

USCIS:

04/05/12: NOA2 Hard copy received

We have CC and did not have at all SIF just AVR told us that we have CC. Also did not get any email yet. I will call the operator in few minutes.

I dont think there any such Email Sent out for CC, just wait couple days and AVR will change.

Yes, government shut down WILL have an effect on us I am sure - that's yet another stumbling block - how many more knocks- though I don't think it will happen.

With regard to our case, I just spoke with the NVC - really, I mean these operators are a waste of time. They change their answers in regard to the responses given by us. He said no April appointments, and the story that NVC schedule appts on the second week of each month (usual spiel), then I told him of the expedite - he went away, and said our case is being sent to London, and we will hear something very shortly regarding an interview date!! He was actually READING his initial spiel of a chart - you could tell - quite obvious it was.

Don't expect a CC email, you won't get one. Only those doing EP get CC emails. Your next email will be the interview package.

Yup, went okay! I'll be writing a complete review on my blog in a few minutes. My left arm is killing me though: blood test and a shot. But at least I didn't pass out laughing.gif
