CSC to TSC to NVC: the Saga continues

Our AVR changed back today and now saying that "NVC has received checklist response on 9th March", before it was almost two weeks "Your case was complete at 10th March". They opened case back or what?

Did somebody have the same experience?

Cant wait morning to call talk with operator.

That is strange! Maybe this is just a false msg, while actually they sent it to the consulate? Humm.. let us know what the operator says please.

So.. We just talked with operator. It turned out that my husband sent last week request of expedite to NVC based on USCIS TSC delay and our both job problems (as, our guys here done too), it was approved and case was forwarded to Moscow.

I suggest everybody from our group write expedite request to supervisor!

How can I find out interview date now? Should I call to embassy?

Only e-mail with explanations and link to USCIS alert. At least it worked for us. Thank you Lord

thats what I did as well, and congrats! as for your interview Timosha, you need to first wait for NVC to send your case to your embassy, and then contact the embassy on how to proceed.

Wow at 600 dpi I would have thought it would have been more than 21 MB but since they're grayscale or b & w I guess its normal. I had read on one of the wikis that forms are OK at 100 dpi but pictures or certificates or anything similar should be at 200 dpi. I did the certificates and pictures at 200 dpi for the IV package and they came out great. When printing good quality everyday photos it is recommmended that the files be at least 200 dpi. So for NVC documents anything more than 200 dpi is really not needed. If I had known my package was only going to come out to 5.25 MB than I would have scanned the forms at 150 dpi.

Yeah, I know 600 dpi wasn't needed. But my husband just put the forms into his scanner and hit 'scan'. I wasn't going to tell him after he scanned 31 pages to re-scan them at a lower dpi. He was already so frustrated with scanning so many pages as it was.

We sent our AOS and IV packages yesterday, when will we expect a SIF and CC ??

You should get SIF and CC in about 2 weeks, if no RFEs.

Weird that it changed back. I doubt they opened your case back. The message is just saying they received your IV package on the 9th. Maybe the AVR has gone wonky

usually when you heard an RFE from AVR, how long will you wait for the NVC to email you the exact documents that is missing?

is this normal or really an RFE? "something is missing on your financial evidence?"

I don't know how long it takes, I'm guessing about a week. RFE can be for just about anything. It can be for a simple thing as not writing your name on a from to a more complex matter like trying to prove to them that a marriage certificate is a certified original when they are thinking that its not.

hey skynaut, yeah we were approved and now we have the interview much sooner than expected (we got a week's notice) lol. We were approved based on USCIS error and financial hardship resulting from the error.

Only the medicals, and at the consulate nothing.
