birth certificate

I dont know where to ask questions about this so I tried to write it here hoping to get help.

My brother has a problem on his name in his birth certificate and it costs to much to get it corrected. My question is, is it possible for him to do late register to use his correct name? His name in his NSO birth certificate is Charly Canida but his name that he used and still using is Charlie Caneda, really complicated because he carries our last name.

Hope someone can give us advice on what to do. Thanks in advance.

i had a similar issue. My birth certificate has my name as Maria Something Something. But I have never used the Maria in my life. Easiest solution... I started using the Maria in official documents, visa applications and the like.

I think your brother should just start using the spelling that's on the birth certificate.

You can either do late registration (depends on how old ur brother is) or Have an affidavit from a lawyer. I have the same problem before but all i did was had a lawyer make an affidavit saying for example that Charlie Canida and Charlie Caneda is the same.I just forgot the term its like affidavit for correcting error or something like that.
