Are there still a lot of K1 July 2010(CSC) filers on here who have not been approved yet? We filed on July 19 and we havent gotten any news from USCIS until now. Starting to feel so worried....it's been almost 6 months now. :(

Yes, we got NOA1 on August 3....what I meant was the approval. We have not been approved until now. My fiance said he'll call again this wednesday which is actually our 6th month since filing.

Yes, we got NOA1 on August 3, 2010....what I mean is the NOA2. We have not been approved until now. My fiance called on Jan7th and he was told to call again 12 days after, that is this coming Wednesday- which is exactly 6 months after filing the I129-F.

I really really hope God will hear all our prayers and somebody from USCIS will finally approve our application..

Has your fiance (the petitioner) been able to talk to USCIS about the petition? Has he called or e-mailed them at all? If so, what have they said? I think a lot of the July CSC filers have received their NOA2s and the August filers are also being approved now. I hope you get NOA2 soon, but your fiance should definitely begin to make some noise.

Best wishes!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

After exactly 6 months, my friends, we got an RFE!! My fiance called USCIS to ask for service request this morning and when I checked the website a while ago, it says: On January 19, 2011, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Well, I hope we get the RFE hardcopy in the mail very soon so we can work on it right away.

Had you already received an RFE before or this was your first one?
