Hi everyone! Do someone know about the tx returns for 2010, when will be the soonest possible date to fill out the form?

They're already available online. You may fill them up anytime, as long as you already have your W2s (you need the figures listed on there), and other tax-related documents, like 1099s.

The day you have the information needed to complete the form. If you have it now, go for it.

but there is no W2 yet

i am waiting for my sponsor to receive it but when will be the earlyest to receive w2?

Then the information needed isn't available yet. The earliest the W2 could be received is December 31 but most employers don't provide them until very late in January.

Say if i have to fill out affidavit of support form before my 2010 tax returns,can i submit 2009 tax returns or not?

Sure but the closer it gets to April 15, the more likely the Consular officer will request to see the 2010 return.

Due to the late Congressional action in regard to the tax rates, the IRS is having to scramble to construct the rates and forms. I believe (but am not 100% certain) that people will find the updated forms on the IRS website in earlier or mid-February. Also, the last date to file has been moved to April 18, because of a local holiday in the District of Columbia.

We'll see. The way I understood it, the Congressional action left the tax rates the same as for 2009 but I suppose IRS had already done forms in anticipation of the Bush Era tax cuts expiring.
