Here is another petition for a Cuban that also was completed quickly and approved today or yesterday. Perhaps it has something to do with country. Good luck and congrats.

That's funny. It's interesting though that one was filed at CSC and the other at VSC. That would be great if both were picking up processing times in general :innocent: and congrats to the OP!

Timeline

Thanks for all the congratulations everyone, and I of course wish the best for all of you. This site has provided a wealth of information and support. If you do look at the recent Cuba specific timelines the NOA2 does come rather quickly (ours is actually slower than most I see). It seems that the USCIS realizes that interviews in Cuba take much longer than most other countries, and allows for this with a quick NOA2 approval. Could or should we schedule the interview right after the US Interest Section in Havana recieves the approved petition given the long wait for the interview? Their website says to not even schedule the interview until everything required for Packet 3 is complete, or it could cause long delays. I'm pretty sure we won't have a problem completing everything in 7-8 months as we are very motivated, as I'm sure we all are. Does anyone see anything wrong with scheduling now? Thanks again everyone. I hope things speed up for everyone.
