Hi! KYLEandUAN (Uan) and I are going to attend the CFO seminar tomorrow at the PRISM building in Taft. Anyone else going on the same day? I took a leave from work for this  It'd be really nice to meet up in person :)

I am quite confused about the requirements though. I have searched and read an earlier post saying that the NBI clearance is needed. This is not listed on the CFO site so I'm wondering if those that have already done this were required to present one. Is it really needed? Mine is not current and I am not planning to renew it til I get my NOA2. Yeah I am still waiting for it but I'd like to do the Guidance and Counseling seminar now so I have someone to go with.

I will just go back for the next part (registration and stamping of passport)once I get my Visa :)

edit:

Oh gosh, I thought I posted this on the Regional Forum, can any mod please help me move this? Thanks!

oh that's for the registration part. I won't be doing that part yet. I will just attend the CFO's guidance and counseling session and get the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (GCC). I'll be coming back for the sticker and registration once I have my visa

@ femy:

For your Cenomar, I am pretty sure you should have an original or at least a Certified True Copy together with the photocopy like what they require for the marriage contract but then I am in no position to answer since I haven't done it yet nor am I familiar with the process. If nobody answers your inquiry here, there is an email link at the CFO site, it will be best if you ask them directly. :)

My wife just took the CFO seminar at PRISM 2 days ago & they did not ask for.

She had:

Passport & photocopy

Marriage certificate & photocopy

Passport pic.

Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound.

She ended up paying 400 + 250 + 150 = 800 pesos. The 150 pesos was for a handbook they said that she "needed".
