Hello VJ"s, My boyfriend and i are planning to get married in the philippines this year but i do have a question/problem.... He had a pinay girlfiend and he filed K1 last Febuary but sad to say they did not work out because his ex-gf got deny and the reason is she admitted something during her medical exam to the doctor ,,, And there is no way/ chance for her to go to US........ He moved on and she moved on... My question is, would it be a cause of problem for us when we file spouse visa after we get married?

It should not be a problem but I would suggest he writes a letter with explanation of his previous relationship when you file for CR-1.

Good luck!

It shouldn't cause a problem.

He'll need to be honest and include information about his previously approved K-1 on the form.

But otherwise it should be okay.

Keep in mind if he has had an approved K-1 in the last two years, he will have to apply for a waiver.
