Does it make you nervous as a sponsor to send birth cert.,income tax returns,social etc. overseas? Every thing a crook would need to totally hose your identity.

There's a lot about the process that made me nervous. It's part of the territory. For ten bucks a month you can solve the problem of identity theft though. Right?

I would also use a courier like FedEx if you have to send stuff to your fiancee. I personally made a trip before the interview. That is not always an option. I pay for a credit montitoring service just in case though. I have been all over the world and luckily nothing has happened yet.

My solution for my wife's K-1 visa interview, "Carry-On" baggage, all this stuff I hand carried my self and brought it to her when doing interview.

I would think that there are many many more people within the U.S. with the intent and means to utilize your info to ruin you than there ever will be in most foriegn countries.

Your girl is from the Philippines just like mine is. I assume that you have been there then you understand that there are more people who have never really used a computer in their lifetime.

Important documents you should send Fedex or DHL so the likelyhood of it being lost or delayed in shipping is minimized. I Fedex'd documents from Kansas to the middle of BFE Bohol last month and it arrived in 6 days completely safe.

Hello..my husband also Fed-Ex the documents he sent me prior to my interview at the Embassy before..from California to Bacolod..it arrived after 4 days..don't ever send it through USPS coz it will arrive at the local post offices here..God bless!!..
