im not sure if hotel receipt will do..i think they asked you for proof that you met and seen your fiance within the 2year period..pictures with hotel receipts, plane tickets, boarding passes wouldve sufficed..not sure why they asked for RFE if you sent all the first time.:bonk:

We will soon check .... on the USCIS status of our case: Request for Evidence Response Review

For those asking about the NVC package to embassy lookup.

You only check after NVC has said they sent the package out.

And you're looking for the one dated the same date NVC sent your package (or the closest there-after).

But yeah, there's a lot of packages going out all the time.

Not just K-1s, but other visa types.

Oh yes, I'm quite sure of it.

I do get excited to see others getting thier well-deserved NOA2, because it just means we've gotten that much more closer.

Being an Type-A attitude, not having control of a situation drives bat-###### crazy. LOL

Hi Everyone! hope someone can help me..

We received our approval last May 12. Originally, my consulate is Abu Dhabi, but then i went back to my home country which is the Philippines due to the Political turmoil happening in the Middle East. I was back here in my country since April 2. My Fiance sent Vermont a letter to change my address and consulate, he was then advised to wait for 30 days for Vermont to send the notification that they were able to change it, Now, after 30 days my Fiance called Vermont and they told him that they dont know anything about it and he was advised to do an info pass which he did. So we thought after the info pass that everything is okay already since the lady told him that they already change it and that to wait for the notification. The problem is, when he received the hard copy of NOA 2, it still indicate that the consulate is Abu Dhabi, how can we change it? its already been 7 days since we received our approval. Whom shall we call?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and congratulations to all January filers who received their NOA2!!!

The petitioner needs to file an I 824 with Abu Dhabi. ( Application for action on an approved application or petition). It is listed on my approval notice. After that the petition will be forwarded to the consulate needed.

i found this on step by step guide:

5. You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

Now my question is, my fiance is on hourly rate, not on salary.. Does he hafto include his hourly rate on his employment letter? Cant we just provide pay stubs along with employment letter, i134, W2s and stuff?

The employment letter needs to include how long he has been working there and that he is in good standing with the company. Indicate if he is full time or part time and how many hours a week he works since he is paid hourly. Yes, the hourly rate needs to be on the letter. then include the tax forms. Pay stubs are not important at the visa interview as long as you have job letter and tax return. Where did you get that #5 from? Some people just like to include pay stubs as a safe measure but its not necessary. Be sure the job letter is on company letter head/stationary. You can also take bank statements and investment information as evidence for ability to financially support.

I have a question regarding the bolded part: My fiancé is working at his father's lunch and pizza place, and they do not have business stationary. They do have a business stamp though, with the name of their place and address. I figured his father, as his employer, could sign the letter and stamp it as well? Do you guys think that would suffice?

Also, My fiancé's salary is $19,300, which is $1,000 over the 125% poverty limit. As long as one meets that requirement, no co-sponsor is needed, right?
