just recieved my wife and my son's interview date today in the mail and its on October 16,2006 at 8:30 A.M. at the US Embassy in Manila i am sooooo happyyyyyy atlas after a long wait.but one thing bothers me it said on the letter that they have to bring all original documents at the day of the interview and i gave all originals to NVC and i forgot to make copy's of it and now at the same time im worried too.can anyone who had experience about this can explain it to me plzzz.Aussie where are youuuu

As for originals. Everything submitted to NVC in the original is not needed again. This is a standard letter. If there is anything listed that wasnt needed to be submitted at NVC stage, these will be needed at the interview. eg I was required by sydney to have all originals of prior marriages/divorces in the original with a photocopy in behind so as the conof was able to sight the original and take the photocopy, as I wasnt required to submit these to NVC. They will have given your wife a list of things needed and the order in which they should be. Generally outside of any folders prior to being asked up to the window. You only need to have the originals and photocopies of any documents on the list not already submitted to NVC.

Check the tax year/s that you did submit with the I-864 as I found that I needed the most recent by the time the interview came around, that Dan hadnt been required to submit to the NVC at the time of submitting the I-864. Luckily I had this on hand just in case.

thanks Aussie you really help me out a lot.for my tax year i subimtted the yera of 2003 2004 and 2005 so you think im safe?and i submitted all papers that NVC asked me...theres a check list here in the letter that they sent me and so far i have not missed anything so am i ok now?God Bless You Aussie you helped a lot of people in this forum...

You're very welcome wilmaron, glad I have been able to help. If you have already submitted everything asked for on the list to NVC including the most recent tax return, all should be fine. Just make sure now that you gather together all the evidence of a bonafide marriage that you will need. Has the medical been organised yet?

theres no medical appointment date.it said on the paper that its first come first serve basis and take the medical at Saint Lukes Hospital atleast 1 week before the interview
