We will be applying for removal of conditions next month. My wife and her daughter came over on K-3/K-4. I adopted her daughter ,who is over 18 years old, at the county courthouse and had her name legally changed on the adoption decree. Can anyone give me suggestions about how to change her name with Immigration during the Removal of Conditions process so that her 10 year green card has her new name on it?

DO not have any advice but i may be going through this when I remove the conditions in a few years. I am interested. Good luck

Include a copy of the adoption decree if you can get one. You should have a copy or be able to get a copy of the court documents from the adoption which - should - be enough for the name change. Fill the forms with her new name and include the adoption records.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

Yep, just show them the name change paperwork you have. You might also want to submit copies of old and new SSN card.
