Yesterday i have received letter from NVC which stated the following:

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case"

I have alreday sent DS 230 on Dec16 2010 and they have received next day. When i call to NVC no one was on the line and today i listen automated message it says NVC has received Checklist Letter Response on 21dec 2010 OR Please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for the NVC to review your documentation and notify you of the outcome of the review.

What does it mean? I don't understand.

Thank you in advacne.

Ten.

It takes time for them to enter so as long as you sent the forms don't worry. Also, many of your questions can be answered by reading some previous threads. Good luck.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

I received the exact reply back in September and had already sent the ds230. Their reply was it is being entered and can be up to 6 weeks to be reviewed. I called about 5 weeks later and they had already approved it and was set in line to make the interview date, they did not notify me it was approved. So not to worry if they received and entered it already.
