What is going on at USCIS??? How comes everyone got touched so many times.

Since our NO1 on june 21st we have been touched ONLY once june 26th. And that is it!!

Are they not working or did they loose our file?????

Anyone in here too that got the same problem?

12/16/2006 - Enter States thru Atlanta

01/13/2007 - Marriage

01/19/2007 - Filed AOS and EAD to Chicago

02/06/2007 - NOA that AOS has been forwarded to CSC

02/12/2007 - Fingerprinting in St. Louis

03/28/2007 - email notification that card production ordered!!!! (Day 68)

04/20/2007 - GC in the mail.....no more USCIS for 2 years!!!!!

12/29/08 - Filed I-751 to VSC

01/12/09 - NOA in mail

01/24/09 - received ASC notice

02/06/09 - biometrics appointment in Orlando

02/09/09 - touch

06/01/09 - approval letter in mail

People get approved without ever being touched, not being touched doesn´t mean they´re not working on your case so just hang in there.

People get approved without ever being touched, not being touched doesn´t mean they´re not working on your case so just hang in there.

Yes that is true, I sent our I-129F July 31, and got touched Aug 10 when it was entered into system (NOA1). I don't expect any activity until Late October or November, around estimated time for NOA2. Acording to VSC they are working on cases from April.

Just hang in there.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Try to hang in there! the touches don't mean a lot. I think a lot of us got fondled a few extra times because of the IMBRA issue, so maybe you see as many touches as a lot of us have had recently.

March 2003: Met Francisco, start dating.

Sept 2004: Moved to Nicaragua.

May 22, 2006: Sent paperwork to NSC.

June 23, 2006:NOA 1- Day 1!

June 28, 2006: Touched- Day 5!

September 13, 2006: Touch!!!!!- Day 83

September 19, 2006: Notified by email of RFE- Day 89

September 20, 2006: Touch-Day 90

September 25, 2006: Receive RFE- day 95

September 26, 2006: Sent RFE in 3 day mail from Nicaragua- day 96

October 11, 2006: RFE received in CSC- day 111

October 12, 2006: NOA2!!!- However no email notification... day 112

October 13, 2006: Touch - day 113

October 16, 2006: Touch- day 116

October 19, 2006: Receive notification of NOA2 in mail. What a surprise!!

November 4, 2006: Receive email notification of approval.

November 6, 2006: Approved by NVC

November 15, 2006: Received at the Managua embassy.

November 16,2006: Found out interview is January 8!

January 8, 2007: Interview in Managua. Visa approved!

January 17, 2007: Fly to USA! Brought fiance and Belgium Shephard home to MI!

February 17, 2007: Wedding!

March 16, 2007: Sent I-485

March 28, 2007: NOA 1

August 17, 2007: Card production ordered!!!

I got touched today.

Vermont Service Center...

- Aug 14th - I-129F Arrived

- Aug 15 - NOA1

- Aug 17th - Check cashed

- Aug 18th - touched

- Aug 24th - touched

- Aug 29th - touched!

- Sept 1st - touched??

- Sept 1st - approved little later after being touched!!

- Sept 2nd - touched - sent stuff to NVC?

- Sept 6th - NVC Received my case

- Sept 12th - petition forwarded to embassy

- Sept 14th - embassy receives it

- Dec.. - passes interview! .. Arrived to the US!

- Jan 15th - got married in vegas!!

- Jan 26th - went to SS office to apply and change last name

- Feb 8th - Received SS card with new last name!

- Feb 19th - Chicago received my application - delivered

- End of May Interview

- Less than 2 weeks later. Green card in the mail!

No touches since 8/07/06 at CSC. I still check every day but I'm less inclined to excpect a change very soon. Yet I do keep checking and I think it is because I read VJ posts every evening and I do see some success stories of fast or "normal" processing times. I'm never going to stop believing that soon we will be together again :yes:

Same here. Seems to be a pattern with the June 129f applications. Run the timeline for June applications and out of 12 applications only 3 have received their RFE's so u r not alone. I suspect it will happen like a gush of water from a busted dam. Hang in there u r not alone.

I was just like you I never received a touch and I checked my case a few timeS daily. I do not think getting touched means much. For all I know it could mean they are placing my case at the bottom of the stack.

You just have to remain optimistic and say a prayer daily.

Happy One, My case went 6 months without getting touched, then it got approved, so touches don't always mean anything, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't I wouldn't get too worried about it. :thumbs:

Hi Stacey,

I would not really be so worry about the touches if we used the right form of I-129F.

The one we filed did not have the IMBRA questions and we are still waiting for at least the IMBRA RFE.

This is actually my concern that they might forgot about us or lost our file
