Congratulations Militarygf!!!!!

Geeze, I hope this doesn't mean you're through with us! Look on the Thread Map and find the NOA2 document requirements for beneficiary (you). Also Bec recommends you look at your Embassy in case they want 'other documents' from their nationals. For the PI, you have to go to that class thing... the instructions link and map are on a post in this thread: Here you go, found it!

Check that out!

Love to you both,

Mari & Kadir too!

Awww Mari, I've barely started. Where else can one find the comfort that VJers envelope? Most people would not understand what copuples in long distance relationships go thru -- the pain, the sadness, joys, excitement, anxiety...Emotions are always in a hundredfold! one has to fully experience it to empathize.

Thank you for the links you provided. im not exactly sure if i will be able to absorb much tonight, but I will go see nonetheless. Time to test the mind over matter theory LOL.

My fellow December filers, keep ur hopes up, even in the dimmest moments. My timeline may show 3++ months of wait time for the approval, but we've been in a technology-assisted relationship for almost 5 years  4 yrs only of our 8 odd years together as a couple were spent together in PI, and 6 months in US. Cliche as it may sound, but true love is worth every second of the wait

9/14/02 - became a couple

5/2/06 - his migration :(

6/17/09 to 12/1/09 - wonderful period of living together in US!

11/28/10 - I-129F sent to Lewisville,TX via UPS

11/30/10 - package received

12/02/10 - cheque encashed

12/7/10 - electronic confirmation of package; routed to VSC

12/9/10 - touched (?)

12/9/10 - NOA1 hard copy reached military installation

12/30/10 - NOA1 hard copy reached military unit

1/05/11 - NOA1 hard copy finally reached his maibox, yey!

2/25/11- called military helpline to request expedite I-129f processing

/28/11 - received USCIS letter requesting documents to support expedite request

3/11/11 - faxed documents to USCIS

3/22/11 - approval notification of expedite request received through mail

3/25/11 - approval email notification of expedite request

3/28/11 - I-129F petition for fiancee application approved!!! a step closer!!!

4/4/11 - VSC sent to Manila

5/04/11 - Medical at St. Luke's (passed!)

CONGRATULATIONS MILITARYGF!

Updated 3.30.2011

Ohhhh...boooooo (to the expedite news, not to the approval) :(

I didn't realize they got expedited...I was so excited that someone randomly started working on a December box I almost peed my pants. I was hoping some of us were in their box and would be processed today too. I feel like a 5-year old whose ice cream just fell off her cone.

CONGRATULATIONS! I am officially jealous!

Dear Decemerite Family:

I have been reviewing all 71 pages (so far) of our posts! WOW WEE! That is a lot!!

I was quite surprised when Militarygf said she didn't know what to do after they got their NOA2 and this is what planted the seed for this idea. Anyway, since we are coming closer to the uscis goal time of 5-6 mos, I would like to submit to you this:

"Back in the day, when I was in Sorority".... we had a thing called "little sister" and the Frats guys had a 'little bro'. Now, without us getting too mushy mushy (even if we are a fun-loving, fondlerful BIG fam), I woulld like to submit to some of the more active Decemberites to check in with some of our Decemberite family who we haven't seen in a while. Let this be a positive opportunity to let them know they are thought about. Afterall, isn't it nice to get a surprise HELLO especially when it could come on a day that seems lonely without our Sweetheart, or we're discouraged from the waiting pains? So will you help me with this Decemberites?

May I suggest to find a family member we haven't seen from the list below, find their post on this thread (so they can reply directly back to your post), give a hello and encourage them. For example: NOA2' progress, wedding stuff, fitness challenge, our cookbook, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if we saw this thread with APPROVED APPROVED APPROVED? I think we can do it together!

So here are some of the 29 Decemberites we haven't really seen in a while: *(this list ends at page 21... I'll continue more later). There are several more!

Don & Julie, JPK+CAK, Mattb05, Adi+Pim, Vancedan, WMark+Carol, Stargazer, James_And_JoAnne, I+H, Soontobe, OnTheRoadAgain, DonLorenzo, BobbyA, Setherwyn, PreciousOne, AcrossTheMiles, Palladin, Mikey&Cathy, Linha87, Jani&Graham, Yllen, Dahnlor, W+M, ChrisG, Gina&Dan, Crazy_for_Iza, Tim/Mav, abbieg1K,

Here are some of the more active posters who I will give a term of endearment, The "Hearts & Fondles" Team! aka: H&F's

Dizzylox, lise+michael, WendieAndSam, Bec_Dipu, M+P, KiwiBird, KiwiJen, SwissMiss2, DerekAndCallie, Kiria&Daniel, Nikolacolada, Christine+Blake, Sandl2011, USCMAviator, Rallybug, Piefre, Carrie_a, Ferincor, Kristen_Maroc, Marcia&Danny, ManilatoSeattle, gyselle, Phyxsius, Hope.andSun, GirlwithaGerman, lee&jenibee, Gsummit, M&J, Alex&Joan, Turano_family, April&Adam, Mochamich, Mari and Kadir.

OK: so we have 29 we haven't seen in a while and 29 H&F's. If each H&F picks one we seriously could see some different stats around here because maybe some of them haven't updated their timeline or haven't mentioned what's been going on for some time now.

So... without this sounding too colourful, go out and touch fondle! LOL LOL LOL (that better not get me a TOS vio either! lol lol )

Love,

Mari

PS: ok that was not an easy task to do and why do my ribs muscles feel pain now? LOL!!!

Hey Paul and Tonieta,

Just a "heart and fondle" to you both (you'll have to come and see what that means on our Decemberite Thread lol). We're doing a Cookbook and just wondering if you would like to share a recipe from Tonieta's region in the PI?

Btw, did you two get a touch on your uscis web profile recently? Let us know!
