Your NOA-2 date for approval should be around

April to May 2011. USCIS has 180 to process your

application and approve it. You could be sooner

but right now it actually taking longer than the

past several months.

They should be touching your around the end of

March or later. Remember there is 120 to 180

before approval in most cases but each case is

approved on a case by case situation.

Nobody knows if its early or your get approved more

near the 180 day mark.

oh, I know!!! Hopefully, I get something other than the wait two months thing today when i call.

thats so funny... because i was thinking of calling again myself to see if someone could tell me something different... ppl have told me touches arent that big of a deal but it is when u cant see anything:(

yup. that's the bad part about checking the status everyday. you know it isn't going to change for a few months, yet you disappoint yourself by still checking it.

yep the whole online checking thing is a catch 22 ...u drive yourself nuts checking it but then if u dont check it you are afraid you have missed something..lol...I seen where some October filers got approved too..lets keep the faith:)

I called USCIS today and they said the number hadn't been entered into their system yet and they weren't sure when that would be, but to check every months with the receipt number. ????? And the lady I talked to said that a decision would probably be made in about 6 months (which isn't what the USCIS website is saying (5 months.) But let's just hope BOTH sources are wrong on the times for approvals!!!

yes lets do hope they are both wrong I cant believe it is going to take months or whatever to just get a number.. Well if we never do i guess we can both just faint when we get the snail mail.. because i have no faith in the email system either for me..

yes i know..and when i was with him the months flew by..I skype but some days that just isnt enough i'm hoping that more and more ppl get approved and we start getting to the top of the pile:)

I know the standard answer is "wait 5 months", but did you notice that some September filers were approved in about 3 months? Somebody else here said an October filer has been approved?

yes i know..and when i was with him the months flew by..I skype but some days that just isnt enough i'm hoping that more and more ppl get approved and we start getting to the top of the pile:)

My hubby is always so busy , we only talk at phone. he will be visiting us in Jan so im excited for that. Its so strange , we miss them more when we have talked to them .isnt it? Time will fly , its already been month so only few more to go. Just pray that we dont get any hurdles in form of RFE or etc

Maybe they've recently hired some administrators from the private sector, because the government almost never improves its efficiency, just more bogged down with red tape every year.

yes that's my plan talk to you all and stay positive:D ..the September filers are running at about 3 months (the ones approved i mean) someone said someone got thru nvc in 11 days also ..that crazy too..

don't forget some Oct filers already got approved. there's always that chance
