Our I-129 was filed recently. I live in Southern California. I checked my online banking statement and discovered that the USCIS had cashed the check yesterday! My online banking allows me to see the copy of the actual check cashed. I noticed on the back of the check that there is a stamp apparently indicating that the check was cashed in Texas, by JP Morgan. Does that mean that the petition will be processed in Texas instead of California? If so, why? Is that better? Or, does it just mean that the USCIS's bank is in Texas? Thanks in advance!

No the TX location is the new sorting center. Instead of chicago like it was before. They get your petition and cash the check then you get sent to another center to get processed unless that center is backed up then TX will process.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13
