Can I use cut-off section to speed up application?

I'm getting ready to send out my I-751 packet today and I have a quick question.

With my Green Card I received a mailer with a cut-off section that reads "Use this section to speed your application for an extension or replacement card".

Does this mean that I can use it for my I-751 application?

You can include it with all the other items that you will send with the I-751.

I don't think you should use it. Since you are not extending or replacing your green card. You are removing a condition on your green card! I think that refers to an I-90 for getting a replacement green card!

I could be wrong though!

You are correct, but if USCIS does not need it, they will simply discard it. You will get another wrapper after with 10 year card after approval of I-751.

We didn't send that portion in with our package and it went fine.

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony

You can send it or not - your choice. It is for the current green card status if you needed to replace a missing green card. Including it won't speed up your I-751. The application will be adjudicated based upon the evidence you include with your application and if successful, you will be issued a new permanent resident card valid for 10 years. Good luck.

We sent it - not sure if that was the reason, but we were done with ROC in 65 days. The barcode makes it easy for USCIS to look up your file, not sure if it does anything else.

I don't work for USCIS but I don't think that was the reason cos processing time is dependent on several factors.

2001-2008 F1

08/2008 - AOS VSC

07/2009 - end of 8yrs of grad sch

02/14/09 - ID, GC approved

02/27/09 - CGC rcvd

11/16/2010 - 751 sent - CSC

03/29/2011 - 751 approved

11/15/11 - N400 Sent

11/18/11 - Notice Date

01/27/12 - Interview Date

03/15/12 - Oath Ceremony
