Happy Friday for me, Indeed!!!. I think I finally fell asleep around 1 am and got up at 4:30 am. I could not sleep, I was so anxious. Hachemi just called, he is about to leave JFK for Atlanta, then to Jackson, Ms. I will be on my way to the airport in a few minutes. It is about a 3 hour drive. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Good morning all!

Meriem- You must be on the road to the airport. What a happy day for you!

Work up at 3.30 this morning...just couldn't sleep. The KI visa package is ready to go to the post office. In the two hours I have been awake I have checked the forms for the 5th time for any mistakes, blanks etc., I called Morocco, I walked the dog and surfed around VJ. Now I just wait for the post office to open. sigh.

I'll post again when the package is on its way officially. I think the hardest part is the uncertainty of the timeline and how that impacts what we do next. Do I plan on going back to Morocco in January? Could he have the interview by january? I know you all understand how your head spins out of control. Thanks God for this forum and the wonderful supportive community you all have allowed me to join.

Enjoy this Friday. Wishing everyone happiness and good news.

Just stopping in and wishing everyone a great Friday and good weekend.

Meriem, I bet this will be your best Friday yet!!

Mybackpages, good luck in getting your papers off in the mail. How well I remember going over and over them again too. You may be in for a roller coaster ride of waiting and worry but it is all worth it. Good Luck on your journey.

A week from today we leave for a few days to Wisconsin to visit a friend of my husbands, he and his wife had their first child. It will be good to get away and travel together.

I remember the day I mailed my I-129F. I was a wreck. I remember my hands were shaking so hard the postal worker looked at me very strangely. I said, "Heh, mailing papers to the government." He laughed. I got in the car to drive home and the song "Nothing Else Matters" was on the radio. Seemed pretty applicable.

Yep, as Tom Petty reminded me yesterday when the alarm went off "the waiting is the hardest part". I wanted to smash the radio. :D Focus on what you need to do today and keep a big bundle of hope in your pocket at all times and the times does pass. Best advice I think I've ever received was not to hold expectations regarding time frames. That puts more stress on you then you realize.

Hi everyone. I'm happy it's Friday, but bummed that I have to spend the weekend packing and cleaning our apartment so we can move on Thursday. I hate moving!!!!! But I should be used to it by now

We just got new PCs at work with new big monitors and it's a trip getting used to them. Everything is so big!

Good morning and TGIF! I woke up at 4:30 just laying there in bed. Fell back asleep around 6 and got out of bed at 6:30. I actually woke Adil up this morning because I couldn't hear him breathing. How silly of me!

Still waiting for some word from USCIS saying they are going to start processing the packet we sent them a week ago. I am afraid that they are going to send the whole thing back because of the missing numbers. I am sure it will all be ok.

Wooo, Jummah Mubarak! I was going to go to Jummah prayer today, but alas, it's that time of month  Next week inshaAllah!

Nothing much else here. Hoping the work day goes quickly. I might take husband to a powwow this weekend, which should be interesting. He's so cute when it comes to learning about new cultures, like a kid in the candy store. :luv:

Wishing Hechmi a safe arrival into your arms. I remember when I went to the airport .. I was FREAKING out. Evertime an arab looking man would walk by I would think it was Ali and he was lost. I would have to get close it see it wasn't. The best part was running into his arms for the first time .... awwwww I wish I would live that moment again (L) Have a wonderful reunion girl !

Just when you need him the most, the universe comes along and takes a big dump on you??????????

The internet is down in Mohammed's city until NEXT WEEK. :(

We're this wonderfully codependent couple who live for "our time" every night. Well POOP I say!
