Hi Everyone!

since December 01, Manila Embassy started using 2GO as their courier for sending passports to applicants, for all i know , no additional payment means , slower and longer delivery services...

i had an interview last December 01, 2010... but until now Day 14, i haven't received my Visa/Passport yet?

has anyone already received their Visa/Passport since December 01?

it's kinda frustrating as , you have no idea what's going on right now at the Manila Embassy :(

is there a number to call for follow-ups here in the Philippines?

Thanks Everyone!

thank you!

phil&wi : they must live close to manila i guess..

does any of you at least got a tracking #? we don't have anything except the word of person in 2go boot at MNL embassy that we should expect delivery in a week. this procedure is quite unusual.

i dont have any tracking # , i think none of us were given. i cant even call 2go for followup cause they keep on asking for a tracking #. the only thing i saw on that white paper was a sticker with 5 numbers on it but it wasnt the tracking # , written name , address, phone number... and the guys said on the booth was delivery will be in a few days once the processing is done from embassy..

it is very unsual indeed.. i'd rather pay for a quick and informative delivery.. rather than just sitting here, waiting. :(

also i think this delay stuff is because of the new implementation or processing of visa which started Dec.01 , or are they getting too many paperworks at the office?

Congratulations!

What's the "Brown Envelope Thing" I am not at this point yet.

To late for those that are waiting for their Visa's now, but good info for those coming into the process.

Not 100% on this, I am just now working through this part of the journey.

Regarding 2GO, when you do the on line interview scheduling you will have an option of requesting home delivery or delivery to a local office.

Since we live in NCR we opted for home delivery. If we lived in a remote province some where, we would have opted for local office delivery.

This may be the reason, the Embassy switched to this service.

The Aboitiz Transport System that operates 2GO, has branch offices all over the country.

By opting for delivery to a local office, the individual in the provinces can have their visa delivered to a larger city 2GO office near by. The company knows where those are.

They probably don't know where your house is out in the middle of no where. Then you travel to that office to pick it up.

Here is the link for their Outlet/Branch office locator:

http://www.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/tools/locator.asp

Best of luck and wishes to all.
