I heard some of the people who had their interview already at the US Embassy Manila that they required CEMAR or Certificate of Marriage/s (for married people only) from the Naional Statistics Office (NSO). Now my question is , Is the CEMAR has validity? cuz i got mine last October 2010. I wonder if the Consulate wants a latest CEMAR date like if your interview date is going to be January 2011, your CEMAR shoud be dated as December 2010 or January 2010 also?

A Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) is simply what its name implies. It is a certification issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) stating that a person has not contracted marriage. A 'Certificate of No Marriage Record' (CENOMAR) would show past and or present marriage(s) or singleness. The "Certificate of Marriage/s" you refer too is called (Advisory on Marriages) CRS Form No.5 - Advisory on Marriages. Now in my opinion they both will show if the beneficiary is or is not married, to the petitioner or if any other marriage exist, I have seen some post of married couples where the CO has ask for CENOMAR. Some will tell you what you need is the Advisory on Marriages. Get the A.O.M. From NSO and have both of them with you at time of interview.

As long as CEMAR shows your current marriage and that any (if you have them) previous marriages were terminated you should be okay.

Anna got hers about 1 month before her interview but I can't imagine that a 3 month old document would be rejected by the USEM.
