I'm planning on using my mom as a co-sponsor so how would I fill out the I-134 for her income? Her and my stepdad file jointly and so their incomes are combined for the household. Do I put their annual income or just hers? Do I have to fill an I-134 for my stepdad too?

Also, if my income is enough would they bother looking at hers? I just want to send hers along with mine just in case.

The I-134 is for a single person's income. So only your mom's income information would be used.

There is no combining of incomes with the I-134. The sponsor must have enough income and/or assets to meet the requirement.

If your current and continuing income is enough then you should not need a joint sponsor. Sending your mom's I-134 cannot hurt your petition.

So even though they filed their 2009 return as joint, I just need to use hers? Because for the whole household it's the two of them. Because her and my stepdad both work so they're supporting the household. I live with them also.

I'm a private contract caregiver and make $3500/month since January. I get paid in personal checks from my client, so I don't have pay stubs. My clients son can make me an employment letter but it wouldn't be on a professional letter head, it would just be typed. THAT is the reason why I want to send my moms income also just in case they don't accept mine.

It will be only one person's income on the I-134. The tax return can be joint. But only mom will show her wages, W2, 1099, etc. So her income would need to be enough for her household plus your fiance(e). If her income is enough, then use dad.

Off Topic: Are you paying the taxes, etc. (income, social security, medicare, unemployment) that are required as a self emplyed contractor? Some need to paid quarterly. You don't want a nasty surprise (owe big money) when tax filing comes around. Especially if you're planning to marry and pay the $1010 Adjustment of status fee) Life gets expensive.
