DS-230 Cover Letter

I am getting ready to send in the DS-230 and wanted to double check if I have everything we need to send in :) Could someone please let me know if I am missing anything or if everything looks to be o.k? thank you!! Here is a list from the cover letter:

• Coversheet with barcode

• Form DS-230 Part I (with signature) and Part II

• Birth certificate of the beneficiary

o Certified copy of birth certificate

o Translation

o Photocopy

• Divorce certificate of the beneficiary

o Original divorce certificate

o Translation

o Photocopy

• Marriage certificate

o Original marriage certificate

o Translation

o Photocopy

• Police certificate of the beneficiary

o Original police certificate

o Translation

o Photocopy

• Certification of correct translation

• Photocopy of valid passport biographic data page of the beneficiary

• Two 2x2 inch passport photographs of the beneficiary

Looks great to me. Just remember (if you haven't already done so), on the back of the passport pics, to write the beneficiary's full name, their date of birth, and your NVC case number. Also, make sure your NVC case number is written on the top right of every single paper you send in.

Should I write the NVC case number on the official original copies of our marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc??

You could if you want to, but what I'll be doing when I get to NVC is apply adhesive labels on and write my case number on that. The labels can be removed afterwards with no damage to the originals.

I'm sure you could find this or something similar in a nearby office supply store.
