Have him FEDEX one to you. Here's a sample:

Shouldn't take more than 3 days. Maybe 5 minutes to edit and print the letter, sign it, then drop it off at the FEDEX office. Did you do your own letter of intent saying that you were planning to marry him?:D

I agree you should try to get a signed letter via Fedex. This is only a suggestion, but perhaps he could email you his intent to marry you.

It would not be the same as a letter of intent, but if he explains that he forgot it, perhaps the CO will consider it.

It sure beats walking in there empty handed. Or have him do the letter and fax it to you, at least that way you would have a signed copy.

Have sign one and scan it in and send to you as an email attachment. For me that would take less than 5 minutes to do. There is no excuse to not have one.

Yes, have a signed one by him. It may be a pain and stressful to do, but personally, I wouldn't want to risk it!

I would suggest doing this AND having him FedEx it to you. That way you can at least have the copy for your interview and if you get a blue slip for the original, it will already be on it's way and you will be prepared a lot faster to respond to it. Good luck at your interview!

Great suggestion. The scanning can serve as back up until you receive the hard copy.

 Agreed, and if he'd done it on Thursday when you told him about it and then sent it on Friday, you could have had it via FEDEX by the 6th or 7th easily.
