My wife, 16 yrs younger than me and from Ukraine, would caution the OP. Without insulting OP or fiancee, I would state factually that Ukraine is indeed replete with scammers and scam agencies who know how to compromise the hopes and weaknesses of westerners. No need for reflexive-emo-defensiveness or outcry, it's just a statement of fact which may or may not apply.

OP,i think you should appreciate the other members comment because he or she cared enough to warn you,and i really hope he/she is wrong,no one gets in a long distance relationship,sacrifice their sex life,their money and time just to get scammed off.
