Just another Wednesday, not much going on. Almost time to leave the JOB :thumbs: A few more days for our reunion again. so happy thinking about my honey.

Happy thoughts everyone and praying, that's all that will help us come through this terrible agonizing process. :D

Happy Hump day Vjer's!! :)

Very short week this week. Only worked 4 hours!! Found out I had anohter half day of vacation time to use since we were slow I was able to leave work at noon! Now trying to figure out what to do with all the free time. Some times I think I'd rather be at work where the day flies by and I know my mind will occupied and not thinking how much I miss my honey. :( It's been 10 months since I have seen him. I hope they are keeping to their 5 month goal. Then that means only two more months to go. :luv:

Happy Hump day! Its hard to beleive that new years is just a few days away.

This year has been so up and down, divorce, new man, coming out to my family about being muslim. I'm so happy I don't need to hide that anymore.

My man has found out he has some health issues and he has been overseas taking care of them. I'm so ready for him to get home so we can get on with our life.

Just got done posting some hijabs and abayas and such on ebay! Need to make some money!

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hey MENA Peeps! Adam and I just added a german sheppard puppy to our home! Her name is Farrah is she is about 2 months old. Shes such a sweet dog and we are working on training her. 2 of my 3 cats get along with her just fine but our male cat Alex doesnt like Farrah at all. Adam has been wanting a dog for a long time and now we have a big back yard and the space so shes all his! Hope to post some pictures of FB soon!

Congrats on the new member of your family Tam! Sameh is wanting a german shepherd too! What's up with the Egyptian and "police" dogs?? :lol: I keep telling him that we need to fence in the yard first before we even think about a big dog. Plus with the fraidy cat, well, there won't be anymore animals until she is gone, I won't terrorize her anymore than what she does to herself!

I hope everyone else is having a great end of the year kind of week! I don't have big plans for new year's eve. I think we will celebrate it quietly here at home....LOL yeah, right! But seriously, no plans as of yet!

Ok, all of you who are on your way to egypt at the beginning of the year, HAVE FUN!!! Enjoy yourselves because I wish I was going too!!!!:(

Funny to see all the men from Egypt wanting German Shepards, I bought my son a long haired German Shepard 2 years ago for his birthday, we love our dog Buddy, but Ahmed says he is unsure of him! I am hoping he warms up to him when he comes!!! Thank you for your best wishes for the upcoming trip!!! IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 10 MONTHS since we have been together! So I am doing the happy dance :dance: In one week I will be going going gooooone!

came to a wonderful home!!

We also will be staying home tonight. It's safer! Had a little snow on the mountains yesterday

but it's gone today. Love these overcast days we're having.

Thanks Jeanne, looks like its gonna be a few more weeks maybe. And it also looks like he has Glacoma. I just cried and got so depressed last night... I would appreciate prayers for him. He has to go back to doctor in 10 days and if his count isn't down then he will be treated with drops for life. Inshallah he will be able to come home then.

All our snow has melted here, it was 50 degrees today and not sunny but the rain finally ended. I wish the sun were out, i'd layed on my deck trying to soak up some vitamin d.

I hope all you have a wonderful new years and for those drinking, don't drink and drive, be careful!

that is funny! my husband wants a german shephard, too. i wonder what it is about them that is so appealing to Egyptian men? I told him i don't see the point in having a dog when it has to spend all its life outside, though, since he wouldn't allow it to come indoors. :)

Happy Soon to be New Years! We are home bcz I'm sick 100-101 fever, feeling blah! Hope everyone has an awesome and blessed New Year!

Our dog Farrah is an inside dog so far since shes a puppy and we are training her. Shes been doing really good going outside. When shes goes potty outside I call her by her name and tell her good dog and pet her. Then as soon as she gets in I say that again and give her a small piece of a dog biscuit. We've had for her for about 4 days now and she will head to the back door when she wants to go out and potty. Shes doing really good!
