I received Interview letter datet Feb 7 scheduled for March 14 but same day i got another letter which they rescheduled it due to unforseen cicumstances. I checked my status online the last touched was Feb 17. .... So maybe a new letter is coming in few days .

wow...so you had a interveiw letter around about 12/13 days after your F.P...that was fast

I had my FP done the 2 feb so its 19 days so far...so hoping to hear something soon..

Yes it was fast for the letters but unfortunately the second letter was the DEscheduled letter ... they are rescheduling me to another date which I am hoping to be a Monday still.

Last Update online was Feb. 27 and really pray this is a new Interview Letter.

Anyways, yours will be soon ...

I just checked my status online, its STILL at request for eidence, it begins "On Jan 7th we mailed you a request for more evidence" so thats last touch right? I am getting totally paranoid and freaked out (as I do with immigration) since I had my application on thier desk on December 1st, other people are almost done with the process and I'm still sitting here waiting to hear ANYTHING......It's driving me nuts.

Don't take much notice of the online stuff the uscis has to offer at this time as the RFE is proberly the Bio- F.P which they may or may not have as of today, because you done your F.P the 4th Feb and if you look at other texas timelines from when people do there F.P it can take from 2/4 and sometimes even 6 wks before you get a interveiw day sceduled..

Looking at Dec Texas Lockerbox there is only a few who have got interveiw dates after you.....this all depends on your field office

Don't make the mistake by looking at Arizona Lockerbox members, as by past history will show they work a " little" faster than Texas not much more faster but still it shows on the last 6 months of stats.

You are still on scedule to be done witing the time frame 4/5 mths, so your on the right course..

If you want tho, you can call the F.B.I Customer service line 304 625 5590 and ask them have your F.P been cleared and forwarded onto your Field office?... if so then that will tell you its just a matter of waiting for a interveiw letter here soon for you...

Assuming you sent a complete package at the beginning, I think Nigel is correct your on-line RFE status is just USCIS' internal notice waiting for Bio/FP. My wife received her NOA Bio/FP I-797C in the mail about Jan 10th. A couple days later, her on-line status changed to RFE. Every day I looked in the mail for the RFE letter detailing the problem so I could keep the process moving along. The RFE letter never came. But her on-line status changed to "Testing and Interview" and an NOA I-797C appointment letter came in the mail a few days later.

I'm in the same situation. It's been almost a month since I got my fingerprints and I've had no update other than my yellow letter. Togun was a week or so ahead of me and he doesn't appear to have been updated either (unless he just hasn't put it up yet). It's driving me nuts too.

Hello,

I had my interview today in BAltimore, MD. The appointment was for 1pm and was seen bythe IO close to 1:20 pm. She was pleasant. She made me swear first and then proceed to verify all the informations on my application. She made small notation as she moved along.

I decided to add my husband last name - to mine. She made the change on the another page, printed up and had me signed.

She spend time on the section on the travels abroad. I have been out close to 16 months. All of that time had been spread over 6 trips in Africa. Each trip was always less than 6 months. She even matched up the informations with the entries on my passport. She asked why did i spend so much time overseas. I explained that my mother has not been well and that i want to enjoy her as long as i could. She asked for the bith certificates of my 2 sons and wondered if we already had file for the 2010 taxes. I said not yet.

She review all the yes-no questions. She then asked me the 5 questions. There were quite easy:

1)who is the vice president. 2) how many amendments are they. 3) why dis the colonist fight Great BRitain 4) on the 4 amendment who can vote unfortunatly 5) what is the name of the ocean on the West coast.

The writting sentence was also an easy on: all citizens can vote.

She made me signed all documents and i also had to review the info that would appear on my naturalization certificate.

As i tought this is was a winner, she informs me that she did not have a chance to review my file and a decision could not be made yet.

Imagine my surprise!!!!!

Than she says she has up to 120 days to decided but if I did not hear from her within 60 days to either call or get an info passe. She then got up, congratulated me on passing the test and walked me out..

The all process took close to 25 minutes.

I really had the feeling that would be a walk in the park as I filed under 3 year rule. My 3 men are usc and i still am a Belgian.

My husband keep telling me that all will be fine and not to stress about it. I have mixed feeling about the experience but I am a child of God and therefore I am claiming that victory. I know that a positif outcome will be end result.

My journee with immigration and visa journey continues.......
