Hi everyone. I am currently in the Navy and deployed to Kuwait at the moment. I sent my K-1 package for my fiance late June and she still does not have an appointment. She is currently living in England which is her home country. Now its the beggining of December and I am due to return to the U.S. in March and I would like it if she was able to be there with me. I was wondering if it would make any difference if I were to call and state that I am in the military and currently deployed. Would it speed up the process. I am from California and I believe we are processing through that service center. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Have you gotten your NOA1 and NOA2?

What is your timeline? did they cash your check?

You can call the military hotline and ask if you can expedite but you may not be granted it since you are CURRENTLY deployed. Most of the expedites are granted due to the active duty military person that is ABOUT to deploy.

Please keep in mind OPSEC when posting also.. not disclosing locations.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Your timeline says you sent off 129f 14th August have you received your NOA1 at all? The timeline is around 5 months for K1/129f so you are well within that time frame. Being August it is going on to 4 months since you sent it off.I am hoping you did receive your NOA1 and so you should be receiving your NOA2 if approved in the next month or so. There is no definite on this at all but with you being in the Navy you should have received expediated response especially that you are deployed. You need to ring the military hot line or see your Jag office as well. My husband is retired military hence we did not get any special priviledges but you should as you are acting service.

I did recieve the first letter of acion about 3 weeks or so after my check was cashed. So I suppose they are working on it. I guess I could try giving the military hotline a call and let them know whats going on. Hopefully everything will work out within the next month. We shall see. Thank you
