today I recieved a email setting my wife's interview date. Jan 26, 2011 at 8am. That gives her plenty of time to get her medical done. There is no way I can be there for the interview. I heading there soon, and no way I can make a return trip so soon. I already have my flight and hotel booked. I really wanted to be there with her.

Kinda wierd how things have gone with us. I made a visit in June. 2 Weeks after returning we recieved our NOA2. Now I'm heading back and 2 weeks after I get home she has her interview.

We can only hope for the best at the interview, and make sure she is prepared for anything.

Good luck. I await for my second letter from U.S Consulate. I'm undecided if I can make it back for interview because of work.

Highly unlikely you'd be able to reschedule your trip even if you hadn't already booked your flight and hotel. Her interview is a little over a week before the Tet holiday. It would be really tough to find a flight and hotel for that period of time this late in the year.

Thanks for the input. Jim, I had forgotten about Vietnam Tet with everything else we have going on. We are going to stay with the original visit plans. It's been to long time since I've seen my wife. We are looking forward to enjoying each others company.

You must be kidding me! It took that long to get an appointment. I just sent my AOS and IV package just a couple of days ago. So, I probably get an appointment at the earliest in April!

You must be kidding me! It took that long to get an appointment. I just sent my AOS and IV package just a couple of days ago. So, I probably get an appointment at the earliest in April!

with all of the holiday time between now and April.. that would not be a stretch...
