I am just curious.... what are the pros and cons to filing a K-3 and likewise on the IR-1...if time isn't of the essence... K-3 seems a little simpler paper wise but more costly....

2010- 12-10: Sent I-130 and DS-230 Complete Package to US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey via UPS

which included everything BUT the Kitchen SINK!

2010-12-13: Per UPS, Package has been received at American Consulate in Ankara, Turkey

2011-01-20: Received Email from US Embassy in Ankara

INTERVIEW DATE 03/08/2011 @ 8:30 am !!!

2011-03-08: Placed in AP

I will NEVER give up and WILL fight to the END!

Apologies if I state in a comment that my husband and I have been together for years & years. It's just that I can hardly remember a time when he and I were not together.

There aren't any because K3 is closed and converted to CR1 once it reaches the NVC :)

Naturalization

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

There aren't any because K3 is closed and converted to CR1 once it reaches the NVC :)

SO there isn't any point in applying in this fashion then huh?

well seeing how the k-3 is no longer avaiable in essense ...I would say the cr1/ir1

with the cri you get your green card, you get your social security card, you can work, and less money,

September 10, 2013 Interview - decision could not be made.

April 15, 2014 APPROVED. Wait for oath ceremony
