Hi Everyone,

In the instructions for preparing for the interview at the U.S. embassy in Manila it states three passport photos are needed. Is one to be brought to the medical exam and the other two to be used for the DS-156? Or do the instructions mean my fiancee needs to bring three passport photos to the interview in addition to the one for the medical and the two for the DS-156? This question probably sounds retarded but I just want to make sure I understand the instructions so I can help my fiancee get her visa without any problems. Thanks...

Best to bring more than what is required. At St. Luke's they asked for 2 or 3 pieces of passport size (2x2) pics.

Be safe -- TAKE EXTRA

At our medical last month I had 3 photo's they took 2 of them. That only left me with 1 so before the interview I went and got 3 more, took 4 to the interview and they kept 2..

So I have 2 extra you want them, HA HA....

Photo's are cheap -- TAKE EXTRA...

Thank you

We were just at the Medical on Friday and the asked for the Passport plus TWO photos. They will affix a Barcode to the Passport for tracking of the medical records, etc. They will also do digital fingerprinting at the medical and again at the interview, AFTER you have been granted approval. Best of luck to you! We're almost there!!

Yes, she will need lots of passport photos. Besides the passport photos she will need for her medical and for her interview, I think she will need a couple more passport photos for her CFO seminar, and then a couple more when she adjusts her status here in the U.S.
