I have been patient but now it is getting old. Each time I call immagration they tell me something new. I am a US citizen and it has been over 30 days since I sent Julie's Visa Application in. they want me to wait 45. I am off to see my fiance Julie Friday in England what do I do? Julie and I are thinking of resubmiting and cancel the check.

I thought a K1 visa took any where from 2 to 4 months to be approved and issued. If you resubmit it will just take longer and it could confuse matters and confusing the situation can create even more delays. You don't want to potentially have two applications floating around USCIS at different stages.Perhaps there is a way to with draw the application and start over but don't just cancel the check and start over. Any way If you with draw and start over your facing the same processing time with the added time of canceling this one and resubmitting it's doesn't make sense just be patient.

Did you receive the electronic notification of receipt (email) yet? After 30 days I'd think you'd have already received your NOA1 (Form I-797C (Receipt Notice)). Are they saying they haven't received anything from you yet? Did you send your petition to the correct address?

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility.

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

Suite 400

Lewisville, TX 75067

You haven't really provided much information to go on :(. FYI, I believe you've submitted a petition requesting that Julie be allowed to apply for a VISA with your as her sponsor.

Wow. Did you possibly send you package to the lockbox by traceable means. I mean do you have a tracking number that you can look up to find out if it was even received by the lockbox and maybe who signed for it?

I'm no expert by any means, but I'd give them their full 45 days and then find out what to do from there. This may entail resubmitting the entire package, of course that would mean 45 days wasted.

BTW, I was freaking out just because it took 9 days to receive the electronic notification for my petition.:crying: I can truly understand why you're frustrated and worried now.

If USCIS has not cashed your check its most likely they have never gotten the package you sent them or its sitting in a pile somewhere in their mail room for the last 30 days. I would follow up with the mail carrier and see what happend to it. Specially since the package has a lot of personal information in it as well as a check. If the post says that the mail was delivered then you know that USCIS has it sitting in their mail room, then I would call USCIS and ask for a supervisor or T2 operatior and find out why they havent fished the package out of the mail room for 30 days.
