yes, i've called them and emailed them almost daily. i am 100% sure that it was returned. just dont know where. or why.

Have you called the US Embassy in Paris? Are you absolutely sure your file is not with them right now? It may not even have been returned...

have been contacting NVC, embassy, USCIS, and DoS daily, as of 12/15 our case is in no one's system. waiting for answers..

HoustonApollo, I'm sorry to hear that. It's a very strange thing that has happened to all of us. I, for one, will give USCIS some time to fix the situation. If I don't hear anything by the 15th of January, I'll probably take milimelo's suggestion.

I'm sure that USCIS will contact you if they need anything. . .Just give it time. . .hopefully we all hear from them after the holidays. . .

hi Callina. . .my husband called USCIS the other day,,they said to wait for 180days for the decision. . .i thought that the time-frame was only 5months. . .apparently it's 6months. . .did they told you the same thing? Can't really do anything. . .looks like i'll have to expect my NOA2 by mid February. . .Merry X-mas everyone!

I am in the same boat. No text or email just that it was returned from the NVC for further review. Looks like a glitch. Chicago Lockbox to California to Texas To NVC. My journey has been somewhat confusing. I hope action is taken but it was good to know that it was forwarded to NVS without my knowledge. I really do think that they need to update all their databases and how they perform the process.

anybody got anything new yet? called today, and nothing new, nobody knows why it was sent back for review.

Soystar and Evoamack: It wasn't sent to the NVC. TSC keyed in the wrong codes and therefore the wrong messages. It still and is and has been at TSC since it was sent to them by CSC. More govnmnt bungling at our detriment.

how do you know this? did they tell you when you called or are you just taking a guess? And if it wasnt sent to the NVC why would they sent us messages saying it was returned from NVC for review? When I talked to the rep he said I was approved and then forwarded to NVC but they sent it back on thw 29th. If Im understanding you right, youre saying that cases got messed up on the transfer to TSC?

My petition was approved by TSC on 23 November, but, as of today, still no case number from NVC. I sent an email to nvcresearch@state.gov last Wednesday, and I received a reply the next day saying that they would contact USCIS on my behalf. 5 of us who got transferred from CSC to TSC and then to a USCIS office have received our NOA2's, but no NVC case numbers yet for any of us! Hoping to hear some good news in the New Year. Anyway, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to all of you. I just talked to my wife in the Philippines on Skype, and she is busy buying food for Noche Buena!!

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

Hello, everyone! So far I haven't received anything from USCIS. Yes, according to their website, the timeframe for adjudicating I-130 petitions is 5 months. I will be waiting for these 5 months to pass in my case before I start any official inquiry. I did contact NVC, however, and got a pretty fast reply. They say they do not have a record of my petition, so I believe that my application is still with Texas Service Center and that the messages we got from USCIS are all part of a big mistake, as aviatorbill mentioned above. Anyway, I'll let you know as soon as I get something from the Immigration Service. In the meantime, may you all have a happy holiday season! Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hello everyone and happy new year to you all .. I hope you all had a great time.

well I am writing to keep you informed of my case .... for those who already read my previous post are already aware of my problem ... I was going through the same thing that everyone in this post are. my I130 was transferred from California to Texas and then i dont know .. and then back to Texas to be review .. and had to wait 120 or 180 days like anyone else.

Well the other day i decided to go to the USCIS website to check my status and i was surprised to learn that they had sent my I130 APPROVAL letter to my house .. I was so happy but I didnt to get my hopes up ,until I really get my letter of APPROVAL .. finally yesterday, I received my blessed letter .. and I am more than happy .. and hopefully everything continues going well .. keep your fingers crossed for me ;-) ... and dont worry you'll see that you will have their letters of APPROVAL very soon this new year is our year you'll see .. Please keep me informed on how your cases are going ..
