As useful as a paperweight

As the topic says...that's all that CIS is...as useful as a paperweight...only there to hold things down. I called CIS this morning to attempt to check on my status only to get a tiny scare that I might have had an 2nd RFE only to clarify the same boring message I've had since they got my RFE... that they only received it on Jul 18. So then I ask for an immigration officer...she said "I am an immigration officer".....well then...so much for avoiding the customer rep. Then I asked her if she could tell me anymore, she said, "it's all up to the adjudicator blah blah blah..." Well.....what's up with the adjudicator? in a nutshell....why do we even have that number if they can't say anymore than the website? I just want to hit something so hard cuz like so many of us...this is pissin me off!

Laura, as much as all we feel like is keep bugging them - oh, yeah, haven't we all wanted that? - I don't think any good would come out of it. They're not helpful when it comes to providing us with more accurate info. So I guess the OP would have to wait for the RFE processing time to elapse and contact their congressmen/senators.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Little things are amusing to someone that feels like he is recovering from CSC obsession.

You mean the little girl on my avatar? Aw, dude, I think she's so cute! It's a character from an Argentinian comic strip: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafalda :ot2:

My boyfriend's brother brought that on a car trip to Floripa in an effort to teach us some Spanish... oops we forgot to learn Spanish. She does kinda look like a monkey!

Noone is complaining...it is cute, just an observation. Like I said, i'm easily amused. I told Icey not to change his avatar since it made me smile. Now lisad??? I dont know what that is, but looks like someone is having fun! Just curious if one of them are her???

:ot2: I really am not sure the purpose of the call center? Maybe for those that have not logged on to uscis site? That way when they read something to someone, the recipient MAY think it is news?
