Traci and Sherry....you guys are awesome. I hate to whine, but I can't help feeling so lost and hopeless. My husband and I are trying so hard to stay positive, but as every day goes by without an approval or some hope that we'll be together again, that positivity quickly fades.

All my VJ friends are hanging out with the cool kids in the NVC forum now

I am so sorry Tracy! Everytime I see another approval I get all excited hoping that it is yours, I understand how you feel, I know its hard being seperated and that this all looks hopeless, just know that your friends are here to support you and if you need anything at all feel free to pm me or email me! I am praying for you every day and wishing you and Luis back together soon! Chin up hon, it will happen soon, and as I said before, keep calling USCIS, call them till they are sick of you, call them till they personally walk your petition (approved ofcourse) to NVC themselves! Whatever it takes! As I said before and I think that others will agree, we are here for you!

I'm sincerely grateful to you all. God gives me the strength to get through each day, even if it's just me going through the motions. At least I get out of bed and go to work every morning. And with the support of all of you on VJ, I feel encouraged, even at my lowest.

As with most of you, I never expected to be in this type of situation. It's unbelievably difficult. But if I had been told what I would be facing this year just so Luis and I could be together, I wouldn't hesitate to go through with it. Nothing in this world could deter me from being with my husband. He's my Angel.

When this is all said and done, I'll always be thankful for the kind words and essential prayers I received from all of you.

Thanks again (L)

Just keep the faith hun!!! All of us know what you are going thru and I know this may sound a bit cheesy, but it should be some comfort knowing that all of us here on this forum know what you are feeling and what you are going thru. All of us can relate. Granted Ian and I have been able to be together while I wait in his country until he gets his approval, him and I have been there, being apart for months. It's like you are just so anxious to set up your life together...the getting married bit was easy...lol now its the starting your life together...Hang in there hun. We are all here for you. Remember, at the end of the day, it will all be worth it.

Dear Father in heaven, please take good care of Tracy. Help her to trust in your love. Help her remain confident in your promises. You said that when two or three are gathered in your name, you are present. Well, all of us here are praying for her while trusting in your compassion. Grant our request, Lord, not for our sakes but for your glory.

That's a really beautiful prayer, Marianne. I know God will provide. He always has. Again, I must keep reminding myself that His plan for me is better than my plan for me. There's a reason Luis and I must endure this time apart, and although I may never really understand what that reason is, I do understand that God works for the good of those that love Him.

Thank you so much for the prayers. It's the best thing anyone can do.

With absolute sincerity, May God Bless You All.

Tracy

Hello Tracy i can understand ur pain. cause me and my husband too is apart for 1 year and 1 month now. Its really hard though our case are approved but i got e-mail from manila embassy that they schedule interview after 4 months from the time our case arrived the embassy. My husband cant just go here in the philippines because he may lost his job and we dont need it. it will be more hard for us if he will lost his job. It hurts so much to be away from your husband. But dont worry, i strongly believe you will be approve soon. God will make a way for the two of you. hang in there and everyone is praying for you. God is working in your case. Your approval is on its way...im praying for you. God bless
