I just read below from USEM Manila website..

This is a user paid service for people wishing to travel to the United States of America.

Special Notice for certain Visa Applicants: IV Applicants, K, A3 and G5 Visa applicants cannot make their visa appointments on this website. You must contact the Live Service operator by calling 1-909-101-7878 from the Philippines or 1-888-877-9888 toll-free from the United States.

Yes, its always been this way. This is the old site(Visa Point). As of Dec 1st 2010 USEM is switching to a new contractor to handle appt scheduling for non immigrant visas, including k1;s even though they are handled through the Immigrant Visa unit. I do not know if K1's will be able to schedule through the new website as of 1 Dec or not, I doubt it. Most likely we will still need to call into to the call center using the NEW number. The number that was posted before (214..) is the new number to call in on 1 Dec.

I'll call back on 1st of December too...Good Luck!

Thanks for the update guys. I just called myself and the operator told me to call back 1st week of December. Just to confirm, the phone number we should be dialing to reschedule (for after Dec 8th) appointments is 214-571-1600 (if in U.S) right? I really hope we can be successful in this. Anyone know about the fee? I'm assuming our PIN will be "dead" by the 1st. Good luck guys....

Thanks Idaho. Good luck on your reschedule date bro! Still hoping to get Dec 16th or 17th. Hey by the way, I also read that BPI will now be in charge of the Visa Fee Payment. Is this true? Just want to make sure because I'll most likely pay for this when I arrive (before the interview). Thanks again.

Chazzie, how did you find out that your petition had been sent to Manila from NVC? I received an Approval Notice saying Valid from 11/18/2010 to 03/17/2011.

But I don't know what to do now. Your post seemed similar to ours, but you are ahead of us in this process so I am hoping you can tell me what I need to do next.

I am really confused by this.

Help please.

the AVR will also tell you when NVC forwarded it to USEM.

it's funny because i wanted to see when they sent the wife and kids' files to USEM, and AVR said that it was forwarded only 11/29/10 (which was yesterday)! so from the time it was completed, it took almost one month to get sent to USEM?!?! grabe siguro traffic from someone's desk to the outgoing mailbox
