This is exactly what my wife tells me before going off on yet another of her profanity-laced diatribes.

My buddy came to visit over the summer and we had a good laugh as she scolded me for being a "redneck hillbilly whis no development event not have a culture" followed by a string of expletives as someone pulled in front of her whilst she was walking. Nothing like watching the stereotypical hot Russian MOB walking through the parking lot chatting away on her cell phone oblivious to the outside world and then holding your ears as you listen to her yelling obviously angry yet unintelligible words to an unseen driver.

It is OK for men to act "like men" when women are not around. Funny how they seem to accept that men "do things" (smoke, drink, swear, look at women, etc.) just do not do it around them!

We have the big internet porn debate all the time. When she's "unavailable" (not home) for some reason she'll encourage me to "go watch porno" but then when she's "available" (home) but yet making herself unavailable (sleeping, resting, relaxing - she gets tired from that 14 hours of work she does each week) she gets ticked off that I'd "event dare to watch porno when you have hot sexy wife in home."

I've tried and tried to remind her that hot sexy wife doesn't mean diddly if she's "unavailable." She's still not buying it.

Porn is OK as long as I don't look at it! But I have to say that availability is not a problem and I do not thin that is entirely a coincidence. Alla does not like even a photo of another woman around. Please, don't make me go into the whole man-cave nightmare again! But I will agree for now that the availability and quality beats anything I can watch on the internet. She has the same "You have me, what do you need THAT for?" attitude. I best not be looking around but it is OK if SHE points out a woman and says "Wow, isn't she just wonderful!" hmmm, yeah, attractive. Anything more than that and I am dead meat.

My wife has never...not even once...had a jealous moment! Having dated quite a few American girls who were all bat-$hit-crazy jealous (one of them actually used to walk out on me in a restaurant if I looked at the waitress while ordering lol), it is sooooooo refreshing. Not being jealous is not, in my experience, a Russian woman's nature. My wife is mostly jealous of my ex wife because we remain on friendly terms. It's funny because my Russian wife has never met my ex, but she goes a little "combat mode" after I talk with my wife on the phone. This has gotten worse over time. I should add my ex and I talk mainly regarding our son or if there's some problem. I have made it clear to my wife that my ex wife and my son are still a family and I won't change that...but I won't overdo it either to be sensitive to my wife's struggle with this situation. I guess this kind of relationship with an ex spouse would be unheard of in Russia.

Agreed. Fortunately my ex and I never speak and do not need to. I haven;t seen or heard from her since before I met Alla. I imagine I will run into her at a wedding or something. My sons frommy first marriage are grown and I have no need to speak to the ex. Alla accepts and welcomes my sons, no problems there. Likewise Alla's ex was AWOL long before they got divorced so there is no contact there either.

It is my experience that FSU women are terribly posessive, if not, technically, "jealous" but Alla simply states she is very jealous.

Just because it was her idea does not in any way mean that you can't be held responsible when she doesn't like the results. The corollary is that if the results are good, it was her idea.

When my son was born, I tried to convince my wife that store brand diapers would do just fine even though the hospital uses Pampers. No go. Huggies might be okay, but everything else is out of the question. 4 months later, I come home from work and my wife tells me, "Did you know that there are Wegman's brand diapers and they are almost half the price of pampers." I really wanted to say, I told you that four months ago. But I decided to hold my tongue out of fear that if I said that she might continuing buying Pampers just to prove me wrong.

Actually I know what you mean. I've been bored to tears here lately so to pass the time I set up a couple fake profiles (with a male porn star's pics no less) just to play the players.

-So far I'm engaged twice over and soon I'll be in joint possession of 2.8 million bucks as soon as I get off my fat butt and get with the "bank" to do the transfer.

-Fiance #2 just declared her undieing love for me today in "her" 5th letter. What a gal! I'm a lucky guy!

Still waiting for the really sexy pics from both of them though.
