hi fellow VJ's, my flight is tomorrow and my grandpa who make caps gave me a dozen caps to bring for my fiance to give out to his friends.. they don't have brand or something, they are personal made. is it ok to bring all of them? i wonder if they might confiscate it or something.. or they might charge me for tax? please enlighten me.. i'm really worried :(

It should be fine. They're just your personal belongings you are bringing with you :)

Thats fine. But when you enter U.S. and when you fill out your Customs Declaration Form, write something like Hats $50 and write whatever else you are also bringing. You don't have to be very specific but I belive for a U.S. resident the duty free is $800 but for a visitor it might be $100 so read it clearly. If it is $100 than maybe don't even write it since it was never BOUGHT and it was handmade by a relative.
