Hello

I applied k1 for my fiance on March 2010. From NVC we got a letter which CCD Database showed that on July 28 your case has been transferred to Abu Dhabi embassy.Today is November 8 and the embassy did not receive our case yet. Is this normal? How long It take to Embassy receive our case?

Absolutely Not normal. UPS/DHL(not sure which one is used by NVC) should take days to deliver the package not weeks or months..Ours took 4 days to get to Ankara. Try to get the UPS tracking number and track it on their Website, it should tell you when it was delivered..

Good luck..

As you can see from our timeline, we waited for only a little less time.

The application will be queued in a receiving house until it is moved to the consulate to be 'received'.

I'm not familiar with Abu Dhabi. But, I would think you should get a notification soon.
