Over here in England - we have been more aware of the current First lady in the US, than in previous years. I believe she also encourages people to write to them. Id definitely include any correspondence sent to the media - copy it to the President too.

it doesnt have to be grammatically correct if people worry about that - a heartfelt, letter stating the current facts will suffice.

And, if enough do it, Im sure the media will soon take note. Perhaps even if its just the local Texas media!

Man im wishing they would hurry it up all the flooding in my wife's are is concerning killed 4 people last night =/ and possibly more search and rescue people out and about and she was walking in the area 1 hour before it hit.

I agree, but it seems even expedites don't work at TSC. I know two of us who have been approved expedite since November have heard nothing at all - just stone walling from the USCIS. Even the Tier 2 officers can't understand why we haven't been contacted/approved.

We have contacted the Whitehouse with no response, contacted our Senator who is doing his best, but with no response from TSC.

I think we SHOULD write to the media as one, and we'll be working on an email today.

Yeah but even if i did get it expedited she would still be there and it scares me the flood hit fast and wasn't expected and the rain is still coming down =/

I think theres more to it than that. I cant understand why expedites arent going thru. I believe expedites have 90 days to be processed if they are approved requests. I may be wrong but I did a lot of research on expedited while I was going through my stages.

One thing I did, and whether it will work I have no idea, was write to my local member of parliament. He helped me massively. Perhaps its worth people contacting their government. My mp wrote to the us ambassador here - who contacted the uscis. they soon moved when he got involved.

I have the name and address of my MP. It's something I have been seriously thinking about. I was going to wait until we passed the NVC stage, but I think now may be the time.

For what it's worth, we opened another service request on our expedite on 30th December. I suppose it will all come good in the end, but thanks for the advice on the MP. I'll get on that right now....

Its possible but I dont think USCIS or anybody going to

accept that as a Expedited case, because the water is now

receeding from the floods. If her life was threatened her

own government would have to step up to help within their

own disaster area releif or the Red Cross.

As far as the best to contact is CNN new. A class Action Will

take at least 90 days even if you tired, and it wouldnt do much

excpet for the USCIS, to give and excuse they have just back logged

with to many VISA REQUEST. More people watch CNN and you have a

better chance to get them to do the story also you

have CBS 60 minutes, they are always looking for something to do

a story on. IN Los Angeles we have 7 on your side ABC Channel 7

news they do reoports also.

But you have CNN or USA TODAY is also a new paper for getting the word

out to the public. A news paper not a powerful as CNN or big time TV news.

the local TV not better than any other national new.

You would have to get 100 signatures and send them to CCN before they would take

and do the story anyway. or to get Visa Journey associated with the report might

not make the website owner to happy also.

I would definitely do it gary. they will have to contact the us ambassador as the mp's arent recognised by the uscis. the ambassador carries weight cos he is appointed personally by the president i believe.

Grr I called today, the woman on the phone was pretty helpful. She also gave me the July 16th processing date over at TSC. I asked her what I was supposed to do next. JUST.KEEP.WAITING?

She said to call back in a week. At least she didn't tell me to call back 180 days from my transfer notice, sheesh.

This thread, as mentioned previously discusses the current situation at TSC.

It may be worth monitoring / having input as there are further individuals, obviously not on VJ that are having problems. If anyone is going to contact the media, could be an idea to ask if these guys want in too. Im sure they'll respond favourably - and its more bodies behind the complaint.

Being transferred with a delay is one thing. But I've called and been told everything from "call back in 180 days" to "your approval could very well be in the mail as we speak, Sir." That's what pissed me off the most. Every call I get a different explanation, most of it blatant nonsense.
