Hello ALL

Spoke to my Attorney today, said my 5 month was up yesterday

and i should be getting approved this month. He called TSC

amnd spoke with a higher level person who just said they CSC

was so backed up, they had to send the us to TSC.

They are so backed up he said they are runnng at about 6 months

instead of 5 months now.

He said Expedites wont work they are only processing them for

life and for serious situation with Senator and doctor request

only. So it looks like by the end of Jan i look to be approved.

Good Luck

well that explains why even expedites are not getting anywhere :bonk: . I seriously hope when they say 6 months, it is 6 months from the notice date and not from transfer date  .

So, it looks like no approvals from Texas again this week...

As for expedites - well, we were approved for expedite on November 26th, with both senator and doctors help. 6 weeks later, we're no further forward, having heard nothing since our expedite approval.

WHAT is going on at Texas? I mean what is REALLY going on?

We finally placed a Service Request yesterday. At first when my hubby wanted to do that,a lady said we had to wait 2 weeks [although we passed 5 months counting since priority date], coz she can't do that, her computer didn't allow her, so my hubby called next day and some man answered and suggested to place a SR and my hubby didn't even have to ask for that... LOL But strange: one person tells to wait 2 weeks, other places a SR himself immediately w/o asking... we also contacted a senator, so hopefully will hear some news soon. Good luck to everyone!

Has anyone heard of the website zzi.net?

They've published an article on the TSC that begins with the following:

The American Immigration Legal Association (AILA) recently distributed to its members an update of various issues after a meeting with USCIS officers at the Texas Service Center (
TSC
) in November 2009. The meeting covered multiple areas of concern including
TSC
processing times, EB-1 adjudication standards, denial without RFEs, separated derivative applicants, among other issues.

I just read the article. Considering they had all that trouble in November 2009, you'd think they would have improved their output in 2010. It seems we really got suckered in our transfers to TSC. Optimism is fading....headbonk.gif

Here's a USCIS Field Operations Directorate Quarterly Meeting document found on the American Immigration Lawyers Association website- it is dated June 14, 2010 from the USCIS.

One portion of the document reads:

"There were a numbers of questions and concerns raised by stakeholders regarding customer service and case status inquiries. In general, USCIS encourages applicants or their representatives to follow a specific procedure..."

No mention of the I-130 of I-129f.

No mention of the CSC-TCS transfer.

Thanks for posting this. I've read the article but I'm not sure what to think. It didn't say anything about I130s, did it? I might have missed it.

No worries.

And you're correct, no mention made of the I-130.

I was just told by a Tier 1 that they were working on July 16th and 17th applications. Its clear to me now that TSC viewed the transfer as reseting the clock for their purpose.

Interesting- on January 5th you were given the above information.

Today, January 7, I was given the same date- the Tier 1 rep told me that TSC is "backed up" and processing applications from July 16th (I noticed she didn't even mention July 17th).

Happy Friday

I just spoke with a USCIS Officer and inquired about whether cases like ours can be expedited on the premise of "USCIS Error"- the Officer explained that she could submit a request to expedite such cases but whether the cases will ultimately get expedited or not lie in the hands of another department at the TSC.

And we were given the exact same date when we called a few days before Christmas. No one at all has been correctly approved yet. What on earth is going on? This is so frustrating. I'd rather them come out and say "OK, we messed up - no approvals until February" than tell us bare faced lies all the time.headbonk.gif

The excuses we have had:

"Your approval is on an officers desk, and will be done within the next few days"

"TSC are working on July 12th as we speak"

"TSC are working on July 17th as we speak"

"You are expedited and nothing has happened? I'll fax TSC for you - oh wait, that's funny, they removed the fax number"

"Your file has been transferred to your local office"

"Your file is still in TSC".

"Your NOA2 could be in the mail"

Oh boy, oh boy. INFORMATION AND THE TRUTH is what we need - not excuses and appeasement.
