This is the very reason why I have been skeptical from the moment I got an email from Ms. Barrows on Monday.

If they keep this goddamn emotional roller coaster going, someone is going to snap and it won't be pretty.

USCIS - 203 days

08/09/2010: NOA1 (I-130) Received text & email with case number

02/28/2011: Received NOA2 hard copies of approval for I130 and I129F

NVC

03/02/2011: NVC Case Number Assigned, received IIN #

06/06/2011: AOS and IV received at NVC

06/21/2011: NVC Case Complete

08/24/2011: Embassy Interview

09/14/2011: Visa granted

09/18/2011: POE Houston!!!

Total time from beginning to end: 406 days (1 year, 1 month, 10 days)

If my sister was working at DHS, I wouldn't wait 6-months then send an email to somebody at USCIS in DC. That's just me though. I'm not buying any of this tomfoolery.

I think we should all stand by for RFE's for "missing" documents in our I-130 packages.

NATURALIZATION

02/25/2014 - Eligibility date.

03/03/2014 - N-400 package mailed.

03/11/2014 - Check cashed.

03/14/2014 - NOA received.

04/09/2014 - Biometrics.

04/28/2014 - In-Line for Interview - 6 hours later Interview Scheduled!!

05/02/2014 - Interview Letter received. (Mailed on 29 April)

05/26/2014 - 3 year anniversary.

06/02/2014 - Interview. PASSED!

09/11/2014 - Oath Ceremony.

09/16/2014 - Updated driver licence and registered to vote.

10/08/2014 - Updated Social Security

10/14/2014 - Applied for U.S. Passport

10/27/2014 - U.S. Passport arrived in mail (13 days - DID NOT expedite)

10/30/2014 - Naturalization Certificate arrived in mail (was not folded)

MY IMMIGRATION JOURNEY IS OFFICIALLY FINISHED!!

just to reiterate...I was told I was approved by email. I also have not seen a change in status online, but Im guessing its because they will run a big batch all at once...dont know.

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Keep the faith, everything works out for the very best

Yeah well didn't one of our fellow refugees prove to us that this is coming? I forget who, but apparently they were asked to send proofs of their marriage, I believe the same proofs they had already sent in.

I could literally just scream!

I cannot imagine what you must be going through, I sincerely hope some super good karma comes your way in lieu of this clusterf*#@ of a ride you and the rest of us are going through.

I'm afraid I may joining the "my file was lost" club as well... just get that feeling.

What if, even the approved files have stuff missing, and it's all one big mess? It took TSC 26 days to input 36,000 files. Surely, that could have been done SO much quicker. Has there been some form of "unforseen" delivery accident. Why aren't the files getting to NVC? Are they having to sort them and put all the papers back in order? My mind is going places I don't want it to go - maybe it's paranoia.

I still don't get why only 4 files have made it to NVC since November. I'm wondering if there has been some form of "major incident" that has been kept quiet.

What ARE these unforseen circumstances? I think I need some sleep......wow.gif

Is TSC near Roswell???

AFter i got this news, the wonderful person that has been in contact with me told me she would have an answer by Friday and my emails permit them from working on my case. On the one thats lost or what?!

God, what a mess again, a never ending mess! I hope that they misinformed you again and they actually have your case handy.

OK, I get it now....

They lost almost everything in a big accident or fire. They are relying on us contacting them to see who we are. The "rapid response" team will then just approve us all, like an amnesty. We'll be OK...

I think I am going insane...LOL
