curious about something...

OLUInquiries@dhs.gov this email got me a response from Officer Vara, an officer who spends more time on worrying about the font and 4 color 'pretty' signature files

TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov is where my email went when i replied to her in my angry email. it's also the addy where Officer Garza email came from.

but i'm wondering.... some got approved after receiving a Garza email and some did not. how many went through Vara first? wondering what the difference is between the ones who did/didn't get aproved after a Garza e-mail

My theory on that, is that the ones who got the mails from Garza on Friday (or was it Thursday), were too late to be included in the run of approvals for Friday. It's interesting that there has been a whole host of Garza mails today (Weds), which was the day the bulk of last weeks approvals went through. It's very Sherlock Holmes, and I am curious to see if we do get these approvals tonight.

i think even after our spouses are here we need to keep campaigning... put a FACE on this like Wade has done will make it real for people, showing people and telling people "it took me X amount of time to LEGALLY get my spouse here" will shock most people...

i have a homeschooling friend right now who is trying to bring her 2 adopted babies here and STILL waiting... gimma a break, what kind background check do BABIES need? these children will be toddlers (literally) before this process is done!

this whole process tests ties and damages relationships...

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

I dont know if there are any connections, but it is the only way to keep us sane around here. My connection: Congresswoman did nothing, filed expedite request and was told to wait 9-12 months, contacted TSC and received an email from Officer Garza, emailed Barbara and Denice with no response, it is a sunny day outside..- this all must mean that I will get approved today!

If any of you have followed in my footsteps, look for your approval today :hehe:

I received mine Thursday.

lol, no need to worry...that letter was a better template than the one I got. Mine said 9-12 months, now that causes you to worry just a bit more than 60 days. Either way, both are just boilerplate templates and mean nothing. You are in good hands, I promise we don't bite....hard.

That hurt. First i wasn't bitching just letting everyone know just because your approved doesnt mean you will get to NVC any faster. I am sorry for you and all those who have waited so long and if you think that in 15 days your status will change then your just fooling yourself, because as you have seen there ar many problems at TSC. My two year old daughter was just released from a hospital in the philippines from water infested with amobea my bigesst fear is she will die over there from either the food or the water. those of you who have been to the philippines small towns know what i mean. This Vj has made you very bitter. I actually applied at the very beginning of august and to all those still waiting from what i have seen in the past few weeks i believe TSC is finally getting the hang of approving I 130s now if the can just get the hang of forward the approved cases to NVC. Jenny I pray that you don't have to wait as long as many of us to have your case forwarded to NVC. JUST MY TWO CENTS WORTH

TomJoyce: We are all waiting and hoping that USCIS will wake up and realize that they should forward your petition. I would be (extra) upset too -- getting an approval and then not having it forwarded. It's like holding a dog bone in front of a hungry dog and then not giving it to him. How cruel. ----- Jenny, you owe them an appology.

Regarding the 6 to 12 month time frame letters that have been sent out, it's a good job we're in a group here and know to disregard them. It is the sort of letter that would make someone who is alone, and prone, to be suicidal. I pray to God these letters have not affected anyone in TOO negative a way. It's unbelievably cruel really.

I have called NVC many time and they make it very clear that on the hard copy of the NOA2 that it could take 90 days to recieve a case number, and don't even bother calling till the 90 days are up. But some operators will act very concerned and put in a service request for you. But when you get the answer to the service request all the say is they will contact TSC in your behalf TSC just says the case has been forwarded to NVC. what a mess

have you contacted your embassy/consulate????????

your timeline shows a k-3, which means if they aproved your i-129f and not the i-130, the kk-3 is sitting at consulate/embassy waiting on YOU for interview, NOT at NVC

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. I received an email just a minute ago and it's from Officer Garza:)

I just hope i'll be approved next:)

Here it is:

Good Afternoon

Thank you for your inquiry. This file will be requested from records for review.

Thank You

Officer Garza

good luck!

7/2/10 here, I know how you feel as well..but I am happy when someone gets approved from our bunch because it means there is some movement and we are one step closer to our approvals. Congrats to everyone

if my theory is correct (they're going backward thru dates) you should be approved right after me (i'm 7/5) so you'll know when it's coming!

she doesnt owe anyone an apology....

Jenny posted an uplifting post :

"Congrats to those who were approved!! When we all get to NVC we should start a new thread --> CSC to TSC to NVC: The Saga Continues.

:)" (which i think is a great idea)

and in response to that TomJoyce posted a SARCASTIC "what a great idea...." then went on to gripe... TOTALLY understandable gripe in the situation (I WOULD BE SHAKING SOME PEOPLE FROM TREES IF WE WERE 63 APPROVED!) but completely uncalled for as it seemed directed AT Jenny. So she responded in kind that basically they are in same boat as everyone else, because although they are sitting now for 63 days AFTER approval, they got APPROVED (supposedly, if it was not just a mistaken notification) 100 days earlier than anyone else has goten approved while others (like myself) are sitting at 206 days still waiting.

more clear now?

Thank you its really hard waking up everyday hoping today will be the day, but to find out its not

understandable.

we ALL do that
