Thank you so much everyone!! That's a really happy day for us! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

Someone asked what we did to get it approved, well, I don't know if what we did really sped up the process but 5months after our priority date we contacted USCIS and wanted to place a SR, they refused, then my hubby called them the following day, someone else answered the phone and that person himself offered to open a SR LOL [very strange they couldn't do it the first time he called]. So as soon as we opened a SR, we contacted our senator, he promised to see what was going on. Jan 10th the senator told in his letter that exactly that day our petition was pulled for processing and on the 12th we also wrote emails to CSC and TSC telling them our priority date and that is was more than 5 months. In the morning Jan 13th we got emails from TSC and CSC but they didn't say anything new. And guess what? APPROVAL!!! I don't know which of these really influenced the approval, who knows maybe the senator really sped up the process or maybe even w/o all those mentioned above we would have gotten the approval on Jan 13th! I don't know this.

I wish you guys to be approved really soon, I know how hard it is to wait, but TSC finally started approvals, so you are next in the line to get it! ;)

Ok so now what we have to do is to wait one week and start calling NVC? OooohhhI do hope TSC will forward it to NVC!!!

I guess none of us know whether our efforts have helped, but it certainly doesn't do any harm. Did you use the standard email addresses, because I too emailed TSC yesterday, and also Val spoke to someone who told us that we were on a desk awaiting the final background check.

It's all coming together I believe, and we'll all be getting those approvals rolling in. What we need now, is for these to get to NVC! Tell me skynaut - what time did your text/email of approval come in on EST? Do you remember?

CONGRATS AGAIN!

Great stuff. Thanks for that Skynaut. Maybe they run PC batch processes, or maybe they are on 24 hour shifts!

We'll be on tenterhooks the next few days - I know we're all so close.

Now, relax and enjoy the moment!!

I assume then, we have to SNAIL mail this document rather than email. I'm confused because it says ELECTRONICALLY attach copies of documentation.

Any advice?

Got my answer :innocent: no worries

i guess i have been up without sleep for too long :crying: i'm going round and round on this, just when i think i know which is which i get to 7 and 14 (16 we definitely need to sign)

help clarify for me???

beneficiary info is in 1-4, correct?

but if 1 is beneficiary, who is in 7? (read the box beside #1) so would we fill it out with "D" and say "petitioner"?

whose info is in 14? again, read box to left, doesnt sound like it applies to petitioner, but when you read #1 in phone number area, you need to fill out #14 as your contact info or how will they contact you!

:crying:

Skynaut What did u write in that e-mail to TSC. It certainly did some magic. and what was the e-mail address. let us know.

did it go soemthing like "put down the doughnuts, get your feet off my petition, and get to work"?

They're procesing files backwards - we'll be processed after the August filers I'm sure B-)

you would think after all this time someone would have figured out they have the stack upside down :bonk:

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

oh i have a thouoght on the nvc problem.... is it possible, that it has been so long siince TSC has processed i-130/i-129f, that they have an old address on file to mail to?

Ok Let me try (not sure if it will make sense but this is what i think):

In the instructions, it recites "Person preparing this form: Indicate whether the preparer of this form is the person the case problem is about ("the subject"), an organization, attorney/representative or whether you are completing this form in any other capacity (such as a friend of the family, friend, uncle, etc.). Important: If you are the beneficiary of an immigration application and the one submitting the case problem, you will need the consent of the individual who submitted the petition on your behalf ("the Petitioner"). In this case, you are (although the beneficiary) simply a representative of the Petitioner, and will need the consent of the Petitioner to submit this case problem (please see also Section 15)."

From above it seems like even if beneficiary fill this form they are "representing" the petitioner, then I think petitioner is the "subject". So for 1-6 I think petitioner's info go there. For No. 7 I would pick option a because I think I am seeking immigration benefit to bring my wife into US. Then leave 14-15 blank (If you are a petitioner). Finally, fill your info (Petitioner) in 16-17 (Note: instruction for 17 recites, "If you are an attorney or representative, you should sign your name. Otherwise, the subject should sign his or her name.")

I am almost out of TSC blackhole.
