I just received a text and an e-mail our case was approved...I am so very happy...I really feel the approvals are going to start rolling in from TSC...Now lets see if it will be forwarded to NVC in a timely manner....

Wow....I HOPE you're right! I just called the NVC AVR, and no joy there though. It COULD be Val's senator in Washington (though she's been dealing with Orlando), or it COULD be in response to our email to the Whitehouse. Can't wait to find out today.....REALLY crossing fingers!!

With a bit of luck then it could be the senators office. Re our senator - he has his immigration liaison in NJ - and shes worse than useless, so I complained, and it ended up being dealt with in Washington. It was Washington that I ended up liaising with as his local office were diabolical.

i had it saved but dont have it anymore... unfortunately i have passed the 5 month mark and need to contact the senator

Yeah we got a ticket already gonna try vwp hope all goes well, she doesn't have a ton of ties to Australia so i hope it goes smooth at poe. She will have return ticket and everything.

My wife brought cell phone bill, I downloaded a standard rental agreement from the VIC Gov web site and a frend of hers filled it in showing she is renting rooms from them, she was a casual employee and they wrote her a letter, copy of rego for her car and no paperwork that looked like she would be staying. In the end because of this status we are in which is just us USC petitioning for them to apply she was not asked anything but why she was coming to which she told them to spend christmas with my husband and then how long are you staying she had a return ticket for Jan 10 so she stated that and then she was on her way. I find the people at LAX nicer than those at San Fran plust the flight from sydnay is early so they are still in good moods. Once her we had ticket changed to Feb 27 which is still under the 90 day mark cost an extra 100$. Also not many Aussies sneek into the US so they dont get looked at to hard.

Today I got a reply from my Senator's office concerning my I-130. They had placed an inquiry regarding my case.

This is the reply we received:

"The I-130 file has been forwarded to EXAMS for processing. Please allow 45-60 business days before a decision or other Notice of Action is rendered."

Any one care to guess what "EXAMS" means? I don't have a clue.

Mine is one of the cases that was transferred from CSC to TSC of course.

I called NCSC about the "EXAMS" mystery and got escalated from Tier 1 to Tier 2, both ladies were very nice.

Neither of them were able to shine any light on the "EXAMS" mystery.

Tier 2 officer advised that I must wait..

All we ever do is wait - I suppose we're getting used to it....though approvals do seem to be coming through now.

sorry for the rant but this is just a pile of #######......Im tired of waiting tired of life being on hold, I have to pay for Insurance but cant use it on family because they dont have SSN, she is now homeless, stepson's schooling is getting screwed up because they start new school year in begining of year we start in september....all of us are getting different reasons and statuses and it all sounds like we are just getting the lie of the day....my SR letter sayd they needed to look at it further...what is there to look at...this is just for the petition so she can apply....and yet the government wonders why people dont trust of beleve in them to do things right......UGhhhhhhhhhhh

I know what you mean I havent seen my hubby for 4 months already and don't know how soon he will be able to visit me It is just so frustrating to wait... miss him soooo much We should have been approved by now, but unfortunately those 5 months mean nothing, so why uscis even states approval time is 5 months?

I kind of start understanding why some people do things illegaly... although that's not a solution either...
