lol Gary. well I don't get much choice in the floor covering since I am renting. I can put new carpet in but has to be a neutral color. I haven't bought a house because I was thinking I might share it with some one and she might decide she don't like it and I would have to buy another one.

Probably a wise choice. First she was scared to live on an island and I had to send dozens of photos to prove I had electricity and stuff. About this time I was thinking "bad idea, fishing on her own pier just isn't going to mean the same to her as it does to me" But she wanted to "try it". What the heck, I already had the place. It was not a good location for a family. Great in the summer, but too much driving back and forth every day. Maybe best to wait until she arrives and choose a place together. Brad got lucky, I think.

Jelly donuts are one of the biggest occupational hazards at USCIS. I think some of the workers are paid by the pound.

Its a kind of incentive for hitting their quota, in lieu of pay. Remember the paddleballs Mel Brooks handed out in Blazing Saddles? Like that I think.
