I live in Canada and my fiance is in California.

We filed in oct of 2010, are we going to have any problems with me visiting him just after Christmas while our application is being processed?

K-1 Filed - Sept 27/10

NOA1 - Sept 28/10

NOA2 - Feb 16/11

NVC rec - Feb 28/11

NVC left - March 1/11

Con rec - March 4/11

P3 sent - March 8/11

P3 return - March 15/11

you can travel.. yes.. just be prepared to show proof that you still have ties to canada and will return..

admittance and duration of stay is up to the CBP at the time of crossing. To make your entrance easier, travel with a copy of your K-1 packet and strong ties to Canada.

Visiting is not a guarentee

Don't be put off by scare tactics Susan as nothing is garanteed in this life but yes you can visit while 129 is processing. I did and I came all the way from OZ and never asked a question from IO.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
