Today i went to phoenix location for my interview. I am there 8 minutes early .U have to bring a $5 to pay for parking and u cant bring any water the guard will ask you if u had one. The lady who interview me her name is patricia.she is very nice lady. My appt. time is 11 a.m but waited at least 30 minutes until she called my name.when we got to the chair shes looking on my tickest file.and go through my papers. apparently she has to makes some changes on my name and sent to the court. Well she said she has to follow my birth certificate and b'coz in the Philippines once you get married i have to take over my husband last name and move my fathers last name to become my middle initial. So she make me sign a papers to change name the way i wanted .

She ask me a 5 Question.

1. There are four amendments to the contitution about who can vote name 1 of them?

2. who is in charge of the exutive branch?

3. what is one right or freedom from the first amendment?

4. what is one reason colonist came to america?

5. During the cold war,what was the main concern of the united states?

She make me read this sentence = what state has the most people .

She want me to right the answer while shes saying it. California has the most people.

she said im approved of everything and wait for the oat letter on the mail. if in case my greencard is lost i have to make a police report.

Thanks to VJ and to all waiting hopefully youll be next.

by the way i overheard on the officer that on Nov. 23 the application for N400 will be lower price.the officer talk so loud were just sitting by the counter so i didnt mean to hear everything he said to the lady. :) But i dont want give wrong info. so just want to post my experience

Congratulations cel!

From what I am seeing, the cost of the N400 will remain the same starting Nov. 23rd, but the biometrics cost is going up by $5. I believe though that there will be no cost for military personnel.
