DS-230 & Medical report

I had my interview in sep 2010 , my case being held on AP.

The CO did't ask me to sign the DS-230 part 2 and he retain all my medical reports..Is this common when the case is in AP ?????

Yes some people get AP after the interview. It will be cleared in few weeks to months.

I don't know which consulate are you?
