I30 immigration visa - Affidavit of Support submission?

My husband is currently applying for I30 for both me and son. We are at the point where we had to submit the Affidavit of Support. Sadly my husband got retrenched and didn't get a job until much later. Now we realise that my son's visa application to submit the affidavit of support might have expired. Is there a deadline for it? And if there is, how should we go about to extend it if there is any way to do it?

Please help! We have been doing this for more than a year and badly need to proceed with it.

First, asking in the K3 forum about a CR2 visa process, makes it difficult to get the right answer. The deadline for submitting the affidavit of support is one year after your last correspondence TO NVC.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

K-3 Visa filers have no 'affadavit of support' interaction with NVC .

sooooooooo

*** not an K-3 visa topic, moving to IR-1/CR-1 forum ***

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
